Steve Scheri

Vice President Steve Scheri has served the LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation since its inception. He oversees the selection, flight training, and mentoring of the scholarship recipients.

Steve is a commercial airline pilot with over 12,000 flight hours. He is type rated in the B-777, B-767, B-757, A-320 and L-300 aircraft. He is also a member and elected representative for the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA).

Prior to his commercial airline career, Steve served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Commander, Instructor Pilot, and Evaluator while flying C-141B at McGuire AFB in New Jersey. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Steve graduated of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a B.S. in Aeronautical Science.He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and three young sons.
