I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation.

The foremost objective of The Foundation was to begin our Scholarship program within our first year. As a result of the dedicated work of our Board of Directors, the generosity of the professionals donating time and services, and our many tireless volunteers, our Scholarship program has been tremendously successful. Because we receive hundreds of applications from young adults nationwide, we are able to select scholarship recipients who truly are first-rate.

Past recipients of Foundation scholarships have already shown their potential through acceptance into the highly competitive US Air Force Academy and US Naval Academy, as well as other prestigious schools of higher learning.

LeRoy would be proud of the young men and women who have begun their aviation career through our scholarship program. We are extremely proud to be instrumental in developing the next generation of pilots.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”. We know exactly where LeRoy was standing on September 11, 2001, and we continue his legacy with pride.
