Melodie Homer

Melodie Homer is an oncology nurse and educator and has worked both in patient care and the pharmaceutical industry. Melodie has over 15 years experience in oncology and holds advanced certification in this specialty. She has also authored two health related children's books and has contributed to Manual for Radiation Oncology Nursing Practice and Education, 3 rd Ed., 2005.  

Melodie received her diploma in Nursing, and became a registered nurse in 1988. She completed her B.S. in Nursing in 1991, and her M.S.N. in 1995, as a pediatric clinical nurse specialist. 

Melodie is currently taking time away from her career to focus on The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation. Born and raised in Hamilton , Ontario , Canada , Melodie currently resides in Marlton , NJ with her children, Laurel and Alden. She enjoys traveling and spending time with extended family.
