Cheryl Homer Wilson

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Cheryl has served as Executive Director of TheLeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation since its inception. She retired from Verizon Corporation after 25 years of service in a variety of managerial positions. She is currently working with Fairfax County Public Schools in Student Services. Cheryl resides in Herndon, Virginia with her husband Calvin and their son Camal.

Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Queens, New York, Cheryl attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Research. She holds a MBA in Management from New York Institute of Technology, Westbury, New York .

Cheryl is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys traveling, reading, walking and spectator sports.
