President
Melodie Homer

Melodie Homer is the president and founder of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation.

She is currently employed as a clinical nurse instructor at a local community college.   Melodie has over 15 years experience in oncology, both in patient care, and the pharmaceutical industry and holds advanced certification in this specialty.  She has also authored two health related children’s books and has co-authored a chapter in nursing textbook.

Melodie became a registered nurse in 1988, and has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing.  She is a past volunteer of the Starlight Foundation and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Melodie currently resides in Marlton, NJ with her children, Laurel and Alden.

Vice President (acting)
Jane Oswari

Jane Oswari is one of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation’s founding members, and has left her role as Secretary to serve as acting Vice President.  Jane received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York in Biochemical Pharmacology. She spent seven years as a research scientist in both the biotechnology and academic field. Most recently, Jane worked as Vice President of Marketing for a laboratory products company in New Jersey.

Jane resides in Mt. Laurel, NJ with her husband Andrew, and children Caleb and Abigail.

Treasurer
Teresa Harman

Teresa Harman is the treasurer of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation.

She is currently employed as an audit manager at CIGNA Corporation.   Teresa has over 25 years experience in information technology, financial and operational auditing. She is a certified public accountant and a certified information systems auditor.  She has also served as an accounting instructor at a local college in Pittsburgh, PA.

Teresa has both a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s of Information Systems Degree.  She is a member of the Delta Foundation’s Board.

Teresa resides in Moorestown, NJ.

Director at Large
Digna Yeregui

Digna Yeregui, a former marketing specialist, has volunteered with The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation since its inception, and joined the board as a Director-at-Large in 2004.  Digna is employed as an optician at Moorestown Eye Associates, in Moorestown, NJ, while also pursuing a nursing degree.
Digna has always been active within the community, working with the Juvenile Diabetes Association, and the local PTA.

Digna resides in Marlton, NJ with her husband, Juan, and two children, Kyla and Keith.

Director at Large
Stephanie Morrison

Stephanie A. Morrison joins the LeRoy W. Homer, Jr. Foundation in 2008, as Director-At-Large after working with many non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia area, including the office of the Consul of France and the Settlement House, both in Pennsylvania.  She is active in the community and has been employed in non-profit organizations including the Greater Philadelphia First and The Pew Charitable Trusts.

Her work experience also includes the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Neighborhood Youth Corp and the University of Pennsylvania.  Stephanie’s work in the non-profit sector has allowed her to interact with public officials and the corporate leaders in the Philadelphia area for over 15 years.

Now employed by Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, a major law firm in Philadelphia, Stephanie hopes to parlay her experiences and contacts in her new position as Director at Large.

Stephanie, who has lived in the Philadelphia, PA community for over 25 years, enjoys ballroom dancing and has been a competitive dancer for over 10 years.

Matt Baumgarth

Matt Baumgarth joined the LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation in 2008, as Director-at-Large.  He is a Vice President with SkyWorks Capital, LLC where he provides investment banking services to the global airline industry.  Working with the chief executives of several major airlines, Matt has advised on equity and debt transactions totaling over $2 billion.

Matt brings more than ten years of management and consulting experience to The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation including work with several nonprofit organizations.  Prior to joining SkyWorks, Matt led strategic and financial planning for The Benevolink Corporation, an internet marketing startup company which enables nonprofit organizations to access new sources of corporate philanthropic funds.  Matt

Matt earned his MBA and BS at Georgia Tech where he also served as President of the Financial Management Association and the Yellow Jacket Flying Club, Inc.  Matt has aviation experience, as a private pilot with single engine rating.

Matt lives in Fairfield County, CT with his wife and their rescued mutt, Ollie.  He enjoys distance running, completing the 2007 New York City Marathon, while raising funds for Team for Kids.”

Executive Director
Cheryl Homer Wilson

Cheryl Homer-Wilson has served as The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation’s Executive Director since its inception.  LeRoy was Cheryl’s brother.  Cheryl Homer-Wilson currently works as a consultant with Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, where she functions as a job coach for students pursuing internships.

Cheryl has held a variety of managerial positions with a major telecommunications company.  She has extensive experience in the areas of resume preparation, interview techniques, training, development, motivation and supervision.

Cheryl attained a MBA in Management from New York Institute of Technology.  She is an active member of her community and has been recognized on numerous occasions for her volunteerism.  Cheryl is married and has one son.
